UNDER THE LAW.
Dale L. Sibley is a Louisiana native who received his undergraduate degree in Sociology from Northwestern State University of Louisiana (1980) and his J. D. from Tulane University (1987). After leaving NSU, he was commissioned into the U. S. Army Infantry, where he served as Captain, before leaving to attend Law School at Tulane.
After clerking at a downtown New Orleans firm during law school, Mr. Sibley graduated and returned to his home area, where he served as an Assistant District Attorney (30th JDC, Vernon Parish) and established a solo law practice. He has worked as Director of Administration and General Counsel for a private construction company, was a founding partner of Sibley, Hall & Stamps, provided contractual services to the City of Shreveport. Mr. Sibley has also served as an adjunct professor of Criminal Justice at Wiley College in Marshall, Texas and local proprietary schools.
Mr. Sibley has developed extensive expertise in the area of government and municipal administration. He has served as Congressional District Manager for the Fourth Congressional District of Louisiana (U. S. Congressman Jim McCrery), Director of Economic Development for the City of Shreveport ( Mayor Hazel Beard), Member and Chairman of the Metropolitan Planning Commission, and Chief Administrative Officer of the City of Shreveport (Mayor Cedric Glover). Mr. Sibley has also served on numerous boards and commissions, including the Downtown Development Authority and Shreveport Regional Arts Council and is a graduate of the Chamber of Commerce Leadership Shreveport- Bossier program.
Currently, Mr. Sibley concentrates his practice in the areas of municipal, administrative, and commercial litigation.
